2xLC Fiber Optic DVI Extender
1. Introduction
This Fiber Optic Extender is a high-quality, uncompressed video long distance transmission extender, DVI Optical technology for this transmission stretches the performance beyond the limitations of copper wire.
It consists of a transmitter and a receiver, each of which has 2*LC connectors and a 20-pins DVI-D plug. Users could decide extension length at their discretion by choosing the length of fiber-optic cables with LC ferrules at the ends. It offers graphic TMDS signals to be extensible up to the limits of modal bandwidth of selected multi-mode glass fibers, or single mode fiber. A transmitter has 4 Laser inside and a receiver has 4 Pin-PDs inside, and each transmitter or Receiver also has a 1310/1550nm WDM filter inside, which combines the 1310nm laser and 1550nm laser into one fiber. It has a capability to transmit UXGA (1600X1200) graphic signals with 60Hz refresh rate. At such data bandwidth, this fiber optic extender can extend up to 500m over the multiple mode fiber cable or up to 2,000m over single mode fiber cable.

6. System installation requirements
6.1 Hardware
Devices need to have the DVI interface and support DVI resolution
6.2 Software
There is no special requests as long as the DVI image controller has been well installed.
6.3 AC/DC Suggestions
Transmitter has the power protection system, users can use other adapters which can provide 5V power supply, for the receiver should use the adapter which come together in the packing.
